Carroll v. State

After a jury trial, Appellant was convicted of two counts of first-degree sexual abuse of a minor and one count of second-degree sexual abuse of a minor. The Supreme Court affirmed, holding (1) the district court did not err in admitting evidence of Appellant’s prior conviction for sexual assault; (2) the district court did not err in excluding evidence of the victim’s prior sexual conduct; (3) the district court did not err in admitting evidence of domestic abuse; and (4) the prosecutor did not commit misconduct in his statements made during closing argument.
